Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), Malaysia nation railway company has just announced their new train service, from Singapore direct to Ipoh. It will start from Oct 1.

This service will use the newly completed double track railway from Singapore to Ipoh. However, the schedule and fare are yet to be decided. This will certainly help to boost the tourism industry in Ipoh.

There are a lot of interesting places to visit in Ipoh regions such as Kandu Cave, Tempurung Cave, Kling castle, Lost World of Tambun etc.. You can also take bus from Ipoh to Pangkor Island..
